We are delighted to welcome the venerable violinist Pinchas Zukerman back to Kansas City for his first performance in Helzberg Hall. Mr. Zukerman will perform Edward Elgar’s soulful violin concerto, one of the most powerful and heartfelt of all violin concerti. We continue our “Symphonic Pictures” season theme with Paul Hindemith’s evocative symphony based on his opera Mathis der Maler (Matthias the Painter), inspired by the work of German painter Matthias Grünewald.
