Produced by Symphony in the Flint Hills, Inc., the Kansas City Symphony performs classical works against a backdrop of the breathtaking Flint Hills of Kansas. The event begins at 1 p.m. with prairie education activities, guided prairie walks, catered BBQ and horse-drawn covered wagon rides. The concert begins at 6:45 p.m. and concludes at sunset when attendees can dance under the stars to old time acoustic music or star gaze.
