Description

This concert has been canceled.

Due to the directive from the City of Kansas City, Missouri Mayor Quinton Lucas, Symphony events at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts will not take place as scheduled through May 10, 2020. In the event of further updates, we’ll notify all ticket holders by email, website banner and social media channels.

If you are a ticket holder and have questions, please contact the Symphony Box Office at (816) 471-0400. Please consider a gift to help sustain us at this time. Such a gift will help your Symphony emerge from this crisis in the strongest-possible position. Thank you.

Our procedures will be updated as needed, and we are monitoring information as it is shared by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and partners. For more information, visit CDC and the World Health Organization.

When Vadim Gluzman was 16, a chance encounter with Isaac Stern in Jerusalem left Gluzman with a new violin, scholarship, stipend, mentor and the inspiration for a brilliant career. Enjoy a program featuring Gluzman and Kansas City Symphony musicians performing Mozart’s Flute Quartet No. 1 and Brahms’ Sextet No. 1 in B-flat Major. Sponsored by Lead Bank.
